Noah Merijn Eken

During my studies in biotechnology at Wageningen University & Research, I have tried to explore many different applications of biotechnology by committing to different projects at various chair groups as well as international exchange opportunities. During my master’s thesis at the Environmental Technology chair group, I had the opportunity to model local concentrations in a bioelectrochemical Power-2-Methane system, which was a very intriguing and novel subject to me. I am enthusiastic to contribute towards improving these systems in an international setting and working together in this cross-border project while exchanging work and culture.

Research keywords: Microbial electrosynthesis, Hydrogenase expression, Bioinformatics and Genetic engineering.
