Microbiology of electroactive bacteria

This work package focuses on selecting and improving microbial strains and consortia for different MET based technologies. It aims to deepen understanding of microbe-electrode interactions, optimize electroactive biofilms, and enhance current generation. WP2 also explores mixed microbial consortia and their role in electrofermentation processes to improve yields and reactor performance.

Participants:  UNL, AU, UDG, CNR, UAB / UAH, UROMA
