WP5

MET-based industrial bioproduction

The main aim of WP5 is to lead the transition from lab-scale to pilot-scale MET-based industrial bioproduction of added-value compounds using two paradigmatic examples i.e. EF and MES for the production of long-chain products and biofuels.

Toward this different TEAs will be conducted in collaboration with end-users/stakeholders to position this technology in the current SOTA. WP5 aims at boosting MET-based industrial bioproduction processes with enriched microbial consortia, innovative electrodes, and tailor-made reactor configurations for each case.
