WP6

Environmental applications of MET

The main aim of WP6 is to lead the transition from lab-scale to pilot-scale MET-based configurations for the degradation of contaminants and the resource (energy/mass) recovery from gas/liquid effluents using five paradigmatic cases studies such as microbial desalination, gas treatment, ammonium recovery, groundwater treatment, and green H2 production.

WP6 aims to understand how the current densities can be increased to make the processes feasible through TEAs of every case study conducted by end-users.
